A church of Christ in NoDa

We exist to build stronger community through the love of Christ

Community. Family. Body of Christ. New Creation. Kingdom. The church takes on many different names in the Bible. We believe Christianity is more than a personal walk with God but a communal existence of relationships with one another. Diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are essential for relationship with God. We believe in the celebration of diversity as people come together in community. We won't always do this perfectly but we are committed to creating space for community here in NoDa. Our partnership with the YMCA and the surrounding neighborhood is key to creating these spaces. We would love to partner with you in building a better and stronger community here in Charlotte.

Whether you are a devoted follower of Jesus, a skeptic giving this whole church thing a shot, or somewhere in between - Come as you are and worship with us in the heart of NoDa every Sunday at 9:30 AM. You are welcome here!

Current Sermon Series

Jesus According to Jesus - "I AM"

From July 15 till the first Sunday of September, we will be in the Gospel of John focusing on the “I AM” statements of Jesus. Many believe John, in the voice of Jesus, is echoing God’s introduction of himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14. What does Jesus say about himself when he makes these “I AM” claims? The series will be bookended with two sermons about truth. In the Prologue of John’s Gospel (1:14), we see that “the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us…full of grace and truth.” Jesus’ time in front of Pilate ends with a discussion on who Jesus is and where he is from. Pilate, in 18:38, responds to Jesus’ claims on truth with, “What is truth?” If you want to understand who God is, you have to look at Jesus. If we are made to be the Image of God, we have to look to Jesus.
